Each team must provide their own shelter and all necessary equipment. There is a limited number of 50AMP sites. Cooking sites will be assigned by order of payment and registration. Each team will be allocated one 25’ x 25’ outside space, along with electricity and water. If you require a larger cooking area, please describe your reasons, including the sizes of grills, props and any other items in your cooking set up. We will attempt to make arrangements to help all teams be successful. Entries forms can be mailed to Town of Jackson, P.O. Box 369, Jackson, S.C. 29831.

To show our appreciation and to help the cookers a full breakfast will provided for the cooking teams at 6:30 AM Saturday morning.

ENTRY FEES AFTER OCTOBER 19, 2019 MUST BE PAID IN CASH OR MONEY ORDERS

TEAMS MAY NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SELL ANY PORK, RIBS OR CHICKEN ON SATURDAY OF COMPETITION AS THIS IS A DIRECT CONFLICT WITH THE TOWN’S DINNER FUNDRAISER. ANY VIOLATIONS COULD RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.

Town of Jackson collects a convenience fee in addition to the total amount due. Use of a credit card or debit card will result in a convenience fee

The Town of Jackson has the right pursuant to the South Carolina Setoff Debt Collection Act to collect any sum due and owed by the applicant through offset of the applicant’s state income tax refund. If the Town of Jackson chooses to pursue debts owed by the applicant through the Setoff Debt Collection Act, the applicant agrees to pay all fees and cost incurred through the setoff process, including fee charged by the Department of Revenue, the Municipal Association of South Carolina, and/or the Town of Jackson. If the Town of Jackson chooses to pursue debts in a manner other than setoff, the applicant agrees to pay the costs and fees associated with the selected manner as well.



We are looking forward to the 12th Annual Hook and Cook Festival to be held Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2 and would love for you to join us! We are looking for vendors to sell their goods, art, etc. Vendor booths will be located in the area just beside/behind the Jackson Community Center in downtown Jackson, SC.

Vendor Fee - $25.00 (Friday and Saturday)

BOOTH SET-UP

Friday, November 1st -setup begins at 12:00pm – 6:00pm.

Saturday, November 2nd-setup MUST be completed by 9:00am.

Entry forms and fees can be submitted through the town website and must be received by close of business Friday, October 19th. Entries received after that date will be assessed a $10 late fee. No entries will be accepted after close of business Thursday, October 25th. Vendors with disabilities should contact Town Hall for accommodations at (803) 471-2228.

This is an outdoor event, please plan accordingly as no refunds will be offered for inclement weather. At this time, the only food vendors we are accepting are ones specializing in homemade items (canning, bottled, baked, etc).

CRAFT VENDORS

  • Crafters are responsible for providing their own tents, tables & set-ups as needed. ALL TENTS MUST BE SECURED.
  • Electricity is available on a limited basis for crafters. You MUST provide your own drop cords.
  • The event staff reserves the right to arrange spaces to provide a variety and mixture of displays.
  • NO bottled water or drinks of ANY kind to be sold!
